How to transfer local files from my computer to your iPhone with Spotify?
- Make a music playlist on your computer (Pc / Mac) which contains the music from your Local musics.
- Then Connect both your computer and iPhone to the same Wireless network.
- Open Spotify in your iphone and tick the created playlist as an ”Offline playlist”.
- Sync your files wirelessly
If you don’t have WiFi, you can use iTunes and transfer the tracks through USB-cable. Here’s how:
- Add the tracks you want to sync to a playlist, or to your library in iTunes on your computer.
- Connect your iPhone or iPod to that computer and sync the playlist or your library to it.
- Open Spotify on your computer and make a playlist of the same tracks. You can find them in “Local files” (If not, just import them from your iTunes Library.)
- The tracks or playlist will now appear in Spotify. A happy ending.
This should work on the iPad as well but i can confirm later wehn I have my iPad in my hands.
