What are common problems with the new iPhone?
Posted by admin | Under iPhone Problems Tuesday Dec 2, 2008I'm thinking about getting it but i need to know about some common problems?
As a first generation product, there are probably still a lot of things that will be improved upon, either through software or firmware updates. As far as the other problems listed by other posters: The keyboard is not that hard if you trust the autocorrection. I'll mistype about 50% of my words, but about 90% of the mistypes are fixed by autocorrection. You can't do MMS (pictures from cell phone to cell phone), but you can email pictures directly to another cell phone. You can do IM, but you have to go to website to do it, common ones are BeeJive, Mundu, and Meebo. The biggest problem I have with the iPhone is the lack of approved 3rd party apps. I'd like to have a password program, more games that can be loaded onto the iPhone, and such, but won't be able to until the SDK is introduced in Feb 08

its hard to type on when the screen is vertical, and the Internet is slow when you aren't close to a connection. But i never had a problem with the Internet not working. and you cant send pictures through text messages, and you cant make the itunes songs a ring tone, and there is no instant messager, there are ways to download it illegally, but it could ruin the phone. (so im not risking it)
but other than that i think its great and i love it. You should get one.

The iPhone is without a doubt the most professional product I've ever purchased. It does exactly what the website/literature says it will. It does all of this without needing a 100page manual. It is an amazing device.
Good luck
