Although they weren’t able to confirm the process themselves it goes like this:
“With the release of Bootlace 2.1, you can now install iDroid on your iPhone without the need of a computer! All you need is a jailbroken iPhone and a couple minutes of your time…
Supported models of jailbroken iPhones that can run Bootlace 2.1 and Android are
- iPhone 2G with iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3
- iPhone 3G with iOS 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2, 4.1
If you fit the prerequisites, then install the following repo http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk and install Bootlace from it. “
Thereafter Install OpeniBoot and iDroid.
Please note that this is not for everyone and always make a back of your device before attempting it. If you’ve moved over to a 3GS or iPhone 4, then go ahead and try this on your older iphone.
