
I disagree completely with the prediction from McAffee regarding

The reason I disagree is because all official apps bought or
downloaded through the AppStore are vetted and tested and rejected if
not using proper access to memory and using the advised coding
standards (something that has made a few developers upset)
Mobile security is definitely still a threat on other mobile phones
where you are “able” to install software from any unknown site you
happen to find (or rather try to find, then try to install only to
realise your phone isn’t compatible…)
Also remember that the iPhone runs OS X ( similar to Linux which up to

I would be interested to see if Anubis malware analysis brings out a
service to test iPhone software for the completely paranoid (just
because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you)
