Photovine iPhone Photography App for sharing
The much anticipated Photovine App for the iPhone is now finally released!
So if you previously downloaded the app only to be presented with an email opt-in area to request an invite to when it launches, you would have received the following email this morning

Thanks for requesting a Photovine invite! We come bearing exciting news: the wait is over!
The Photovine team has been burning the midnight oil to build new features and incorporate feedback from our testers. We’re thrilled to announce that our hard work has paid off – we hit our goals ahead of time, and Photovine is now available to you in the App Store!
How Photovine works
Let’s say you start a vine with a photo of you and your friends at brunch and give it the caption “Perfect Weekend”. Your friends would share their own take on the “Perfect Weekend” vine by posting a photo of them boating, reading a book, on the dance floor, or whatever the caption means to them. The possibilities are endless.
As people add photos to vines, they tell their own stories about the moments, images and ideas that connect us all. The more people who participate in a given vine, the more likely you’ll discover a shared experience and connection. Together, vines enable you to explore and connect through photos, and the people behind them, in an entirely new way.
A glimpse at the PhotoVine features
Browse vines – Poke around and see all of the photos and creative captions added by the Photovine community.
- Add a photo to a vine – Once you’ve got the hang of it, don’t be shy, add a photo to a vine that you like.
- Create a vine – Start your first vine and watch it grow. Be clever, witty, or literal; it will define the direction in which the vine grows.
- Follow people – As you find interesting people, you can follow them and keep up with their latest activity in your feed; it’s a great way to discover new vines, photos, and people.
