If you have a classroom full of students using iPods or iPhones it would be useful to screencast a video to all of the devices, especially since you cannot. I previously remember seeing such an app but Google isn’t friendly today to provide me with the details so here is the next best thing
If you don’t have a large display, but have 12 friends, or colleagues that have iPhones, you can always setup a Powerwall or Cluster Video wall like the Japanese Studio Mongoose.
The guys at Japan’s Studio Mongoose are making some serious progress on their massively multi-iPhone display, for the first time showing off movie footage synchronized across multiple iPhones at the same exact moment.
Using a new piece of custom iOS software
called SynchroMoviePlayer, they’re able to stream a single movie file, shared across all of the iPhones, and then broken up onto all of the screens. Here’s a quick video clip of the multiscreen action, playing a brief snippet from the TRON: Legacy trailer:
