Well, according to a magazine called “business week” in the USA,
Apple have sent out a few ipads to some developers so that they can
get to work on their apps for the ipad. However, Apple have basically
told the developers that they have to keep their ipads secured to a fixed
object to a windowless room and the ipads have to be kept safe under
lock and key. Now this may sound somewhat over the top in terms of
security measures laid down by Apple, but they are trying to keep their
product under wraps until release day. Additionally, my thinking is that
they also want to give the developers a chance to have their ipad-specific
apps ready for the release day.

I was talking a look at the ipad on Amazon and I noticed that the Applecare section for the ipad only said it is only 2 years. Does anyone know why is not lasting 3 years like every other Apple product? Ok, well the iphone/ipods now says it is 2 years too on the Applecare. When did they all change to 2 years and not 3?
