Easter egg in Tweetie 2 – iPhone App

One observing iPhone user found a hidden easter-egg in the Popular Twitter App for the iPhone called Tweetie.

If you sent or received a Tweet with the hashtag #red the text of the Tweet will actually be displayed in RED.

Easter eggs (for those who don’t know) are hidden features written by programmers into applications, usually just for self amusement, but in this case the Easter egg does have a greater meaning.

It is related to the RED foundation made famous by Bono and Apple with the iPod Nano RED.

Looking forward to more iPhone easter Eggs.

USB Drive for iPhone v1 is available

Please note this is not for everyone. If you are happy with your iPhone, and would find it a massive hassle to retrieve your contact no, bookmarks or video and music you have on your iPhone best to stay away from this for now as you can seriously damage your iPone.

That being said, for everyone else who might have jailbroken their iPhones.

First step is to open cydia and add the following source: apt.dmytro.me

Next search for the App called USB drive

INSTALLATION AND USE

Install USB Drive from my Cydia repository.
Launch USB Drive.
Create some disk. It takes a while to allocate large amount of data
Switch to the Mass Storage mode.
Reboot
Connect USB Cable
Enjoy!

USB Drive for the iPhone platform (CE2I to name it short) let you use iPhone or iPod Touch as USB Mass Storage device.

USB Drive let you create one or more virtual disks for use as USB Mass Storage volume, thus you can allocate some of your iPhone space to carry desktop files with you
